We're excited to announce that Dr. Mark Melnik will be joining us as a featured speaker at our upcoming event. As Director of Economic & Public Policy Research at UMass, Dr. Melnik will share insights drawn from his extensive experience leading projects for organizations like the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, the Boston Foundation, and the City of Boston. With a Ph.D. in sociology and a deep understanding of labor market trends, Dr. Melnik will offer a compelling look at the forces shaping our economy and workforce.

Brian Smith is the Chief Pharmacy Officer for Shields Health Solutions. Brian leads the company’s clinical strategy, pharmacy operations, manufacturer relations, accreditation and population health initiatives. Overall, it is Brian’s role to ensure that Shields provides legendary care to every patient at each of the company’s hospital partner sites across the country while maintaining the highest clinical and regulatory standards.

Stephen West is the Chief Executive Officer for Shields Health Solutions. Stephen works closely with the Shields executive team to execute on key strategic and operational initiatives, ensuring that the highest level of integrated care is delivered consistently across all partners.
